The Name Hemphill

Isn’t it strange how certain names seem to surface when they are connected to the Premier,  Dennis King. You may remember some time ago Darlene Compton (remember her tighten your belt advice) declared on line gambling would be good for the province. A year or so later Dennis King made and executive order to allow this online gambling program. I expect most people reading this are saying (yes yes we already all this) so what is the point of your blog. Well there is a point, a point that Islanders deserve to know. We are now well aware of the Premiers wife, using her maiden name of Hemphill, trying to win a federal grant of $100 thousand in New Brunswick. Both Dennis and his wife when caught in their subterfuge, they cried foul and were offended. Nevertheless, they later withdrew her grant application.
I know I know!! You know all this too. Be patient, it gets better, I have now learned Dennis King has appointed a person to manage this knew gambling program. Can you guess the name of this person. Yes correct, Hemphill. In fact he is Jana Hemphill‘s brother. Now isn’t that a strange coincidence!!!
