Panic Buttons for Politicians

So our illustrious politicians are feeling unsafe, poor babies. They need to have panic buttons in case voters get angry. Hell we voters have been angry for a long time, the question politicians need to ask, is why! We have reached to a place where we are ignored, paid lip service, lied to, offered empty promises, or more often than not, do not see a politician from one election until the next. Politicians do not represent the people of their district, they represent their party and of course their leaders. If we complain we are fobbed off with, I will look into it! However, one major issue is how they spend our tax dollars. They swan around in gas guzzlers using government credit cards, they dine out using our tax dollars, they do not try or even appear to try and be frugal. Each politician has a staff, office, and in the case of MPs, have apartments in Ottawa flying back and fro at no personal cost. Now I expect some will disagree and dispute my claims and that is fine. Nevertheless, there are millions of Canadians who would readily agree with me. It doesn’t matter if my facts are unfounded, it’s what many of us see every day of our lives. We are told to tighten our belts and suck it up as a flash government car pulls up to the pumps. “Fill her up lad I have an important dinner to attend”.
That’s why these untouchables cry for the protection of a panic button, and of course our tax dollars will pay for them. The real reason as I see it, they have lost all respect from us the people. From Trudeau all the way down we have been given one lie after another. The only MP that I could honestly say yes I have great respect for, was Judy Wilson Raybould, and they got rid of her.
