Transparency Questions Again!

The word Transparency is a word we have heard politician use again and again. However, it is a word that most people now believe is more like a pea soup fog. Nothing is transparent or open to us, the public. This has been an ongoing issue for several decades, politician promise transparency and then do the exact opposite. This is troubling enough in Federal and Provincial governments. Now it appears to have spread to municipal politics. Major Brown and most of his councillors feel they should hold their meetings behind close doors. It appears they do not wish the public to know how their tax dollars are spent. This becomes more serious when they meet about the spending of funds on their enjoyment, accommodations, travel, meals and liquor. It becomes more critical when discussing their dismissed Administration officer and the recent fallout from that. All very secretive and always behind closed doors.  What is transparent about these Federal, Provincial and Municipal politicians is that we the voters can see through them all very clearly?
