Little Big Things We Forget

While the party’s are all talking health care, and rightly so, we tend to forget other very important issues. Let’s talk deep water wells and the massive Irving holding ponds. Remember these holding ponds that required two pumps running 24/7 for a month just to fill them. I note that the government doesn’t mention them anymore, but be sure they are still out there, as are the deep water wells. Remember the E Gaming scandal and King stalling on releasing the documents. Were they ever released or quietly swept under the carpet? How about the Gunn Bridge over the Trout River, a bridge that cost approximately 600 million and goes nowhere? Next two major fish kills in the Dunk River and Cousins Shore, was anyone ever charged? Last but not least the silly government payment of 4.7 million to Irving, whom Irving didn’t want or need. While everyone focuses on health care, they ignore or pretend these other scandals didn’t happen. For those folks claiming they are satisfied with the PCs they should perhaps remind themselves of the passed record of this government.
