Luck of the Irish

Here we are in the middle of another election, with promises falling like snow. Much of it probably falling on deaf ears, or perhaps disinterested ears. Why? well we have heard it all before, election after election and nothing ever changes. Today we have Dennis King travelling the island on his little economy box vehicle with his grinning face plastered on each side. He is promising to fix health care, and is offering us free, yes you heard right free, Maple!!! Not completely sure what Maple does, apparently you can phone for advice or to get a prescription. What a great way to improve health care, but did you know maple is owned by Galen Weston, you know him well, you buy your over priced groceries in his stores. Now our Dennis is sending more of our hard earned tax dollars to poor old Galen Weston. Does this not sound just a wee bit like privatizing health care. So folks, perhaps we might think Irish on 17th March and maybe think green too. Yes I know it would be the luck of the Irish if King was to lose the election. However, I’m Irish and wishing on a shamrock, perhaps you could too.
