The Wheels on the Bus

Laying in bed last night a wonderful dream popped into my head. I thought back to the last election when Dennis King became premier. Everyone in the house were smiling, hugging, back slapping and shaking hands. It was the beginning of Dennis’s most honest and transparent government in the history of Prince Edward Island. The word was cooperation, no more sniping no more back stabbing or nasty comments, it was like a new era in politics. It was during this wonderful new era of friendly cooperation that my grand idea was born. I got thinking of poor Dennis alone on that big bus, why not have all the party leaders join him and cooperate in campaigning. Think how more colourful the bus would be decorated in blue, green, red and orange. How much more productive, they could cover a street in half the time with everyone knocking on doors. At a tall apartment building they each take a floor. By the time the election ended the leaders would all be singing “the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round. My, what a happy wonderful time they would have!!!
Sadly then I woke up!!
