the Debate

I watched the debate last night with interest, but really nothing new was heard. If I were to rate the four candidates, it would be as follows. Peter Bevan Baker was far out in front and in my opinion would be the best new Premier. Next I would say Michelle Neil of the NDP did very well. She spoke well and had several very good proposals. Dennis King waved his hands around a lot and told us several times there was no magic button, no magic bullet. Sharon Cameron of the Liberals was by far the one so far out of her depth. She struggled with every question, and when Ghiz and MacLauchlan was mentioned she was most uncomfortable. She claimed she didn’t want to look back, she wanted to look forward. Well, it will be interesting to see how the votes fall next Monday, however, King may not get the majority he is hoping for.
