Dangerous West Prince Highways

The new RCMP study shows that the most dangerous drivers come from Prince County. I have to say the police are absolutely correct. We are never on number two highway west of Summerside when we do not see dangerous driving. Speeding, passing on hills, on double lines, and in low speed zones. On one occasion we were passed on the inside, the car was in the gravel and grass, so dangerous, could have gone off the road completely. Had to blow the horn to get an ATV to move over so we could pass, he waved the beer he was drinking at us. I wonder how many of these vehicle are even legally using the highway. Many do not even look safe. Photo cameras might be a good solution, radar traps and or more police presence. Until something is done these infractions will continue. I haven’t even mention those drinking and driving, believe me, plenty of that goes on too.
