Nice Surprise in the Mail

A very good friend in England sent me these two small metal items featuring Lambretta. They are also magnetic so one could assume they are fridge magnets. But are they? they are old, but in the UK back in the 1950-60’s very few people had a fridge. If they did they were usually small under the counter type. I’m quite certain very few scooter owners also had fridges? So what was the purpose of these items? who made them? and were they sold or just used as a promotion. Anyone have any idea????
Cheers and keep reading.
