The only fools around here today are the people of Prince Edward Island who will begin paying the Liberal government more taxes. Actually that isn’t accurate, we aren’t the fools, its the Liberal Government who can’t manage the finances of this province. Their only solution is to raise taxes because of the ballooning deficit they created. But hey!! we shouldn’t be too hard on them, these taxes are really necessary. How else could they afford to give themselves two deserved pay raises in three months?? how could they afford new government vehicles and credit cards to pay for the gas they use, How could they afford exotic trips to China, Egypt, India etc (first class of course) and how could they afford(and I have to ask why)to take the Bearded Skipper to China?, something fishy there. ??????? But such important priorities cost money so we have to pay. Besides we should really appreciate the fact that our own Honest Wes Sheridan has only updated a badly out of date tax system. He has created a level playing field? only problem now, none of us can now afford to play on it. Way to go Robert Ghiz! you have sure pulled one great April Fools Day on Islanders today eh!!!! Maybe we can repay your joke in the next election? We can only hope.
