An Amazing Talent

I know there is nothing new about Grampies bragging about their beautiful Granddaughters, we all do it. However, I believe I have something more than just a lovely wee girl as my Granddaughter, I have an amazingly talented young lady who I`m so proud of. Melissa is 15 going on 25! she is a sweet gentle and very caring young woman. (She does spend more time under the shower than most but that is her only fault!!)  I know you will say , so what! nothing new here, other peoples granddaughters are just as talented and just as beautiful. No argument from me, but nevertheless, I will heap my praise on Melissa ,not just because she is family but rather because of how she thinks of others. She is one of the most thoughtful caring young persons I know. Recently a dear friend lost her little dog “Stormy“he was the family pet for over 15 years and a terrible loss when his time finally arrived. Melissa painted a portrait of Stormy and gave it to his family as a Christmas present What a lovely gift and what an amazing and loving way to put her talent to work. Rest in peace Stormy and know that you have not been forgotten. To Melissa, you have truly found the meaning of Christmas. Merry Christmas to one and all.
