The Advisory Council to the Order of PEI, why do we need them????Robert Ghiz doesn’t recognize them or follow their recommendations, he is his own one man advisory council. If he decides to hand out the award he can do it because he sees himself as the absolute final word in this Province. Democracy is out the door, Herr Ghiz is in charge and he does exactly what he wants to do. Grand standing at an event back in March 2014 he announced he would award the Order of PEI to Heather Moyse, an Olympic Gold Medalist. This is not about Heather or if she deserves the award it is about Ghiz not following the correct protocol . Of course protocol in this government has been sadly lacking for some time now. Ghiz reminds me of a spoiled little boy, if he doesn’t get his way he stamps his feet in a childish tantrum until his weak parents (inner circle) give in. This Provincial Government must surely go down in history as the very worse government ever. Ghiz will be remembered as the worse Premier ever, a title he has earned time and again. Perhaps we should create a new Order of PEI maybe call it the “Most Dishonourable Order of PEI” and the first medal should go to Ghiz. —- Please roll on the next election date.
