I woke up this rainy morning Sunday 14th August, excited for the coming day. It was Arsenal’s first league game of the new Premiership season. They were at home to Liverpool at the Emirates and hopes were high for a great victory. Excitement soon turn to disappointment as the Gunners went behind by a score of 4-1. They did fight back and closed the gap to one goal 4-3 but that was how the match ended. Not a good start to the new season but seems to be the usual Arsenal pattern of always losing the opener. Cries of get rid of team manager Arsene Wenger will soon be renewed loud and clear. Arsenal can do better then this and some drastic changes are need. The game could have ended as a tie 4-4 had Walcott not missed a penalty kick in the first half. Certainly not good enough from a player of his quality. Lets hope this was just a minor bleep and the Gunners go on to bigger and better things this year.Fingers crossed and Go Gunners Go??????
