Here it is again!!, another Monday morning, not every ones favourite day of the week. Its a wet day with heavy rain but very mild temperatures. The Mini is tucked up in the garage, but the top is still down. I don’t give up the lazy days of summer that easily and expect to have a few more adventures on the Island highways before the snow flies. Its a big day in New Brunswick as they go to the polls to elect a new provincial government. The conservative government look like they will be ousted this time around. My guess is they have supported and indeed ran on a policy of Fracking that no one wants. The huge riots in Rexton earlier this year surely sent a strong anti fracking message. That indicates the government did not listen to the people. I’m not sure how much better the liberals will be if elected. They haven’t taken fracking off the table, just state it needs more study. The NDP are against it but will they win the election? doubtful. It was International World Peace Day yesterday and there were huge marches in many cities across North America, the biggest in New York. All the marches were for climate change, for a green environment, alternative energy, stop using fossil fuels and stop supporting the big oil companies. Will it happen, what do you think, maybe, maybe not. At least people are stirring across the world and change will eventually happen, not in my lifetime, but hopefully for the future generations. Finally did anyone tell ISIS yesterday was International World Peace Day. There now! I bet you feel a whole lot better about this lovely Monday Morning
God Bless and keep reading.
